Financial review and rule checks
Which rules are verified, and where professional sign-off is still missing.
Professional review pending. We have checked selected published rules against Canadian government and CMHC sources, but a qualified independent mortgage and tax reviewer has not signed off on the models. No reviewer credentials or approval are claimed.
Primary-source rule checks — 11 October 2026
Source checks do not establish whether every line of calculator code is correct. The scope below covers selected rules and published limits, not all personal eligibility conditions or every provincial closing tax.

Still awaiting independent verification
- Credentialed reviewer to independently check mortgage payment math, amortization, payment-frequency and insurance scenarios against published lender/FCAC examples, then sign and date scope.
- Credentialed Canadian tax professional to review RRSP/TFSA/FHSA modelling and disclaimers with representative and edge-case inputs; publish exact reviewer identity only with permission.
- Province-by-province land-transfer-tax, municipal surtax, registration schedules and rebates to be independently reverified. Current checking of selected federal rules does not certify them.
- Full browser, keyboard and screen-reader interaction plus deployed production smoke tests are outstanding.
Annual and change-driven update policy
- At the start of each tax year: verify CRA TFSA, RRSP, FHSA published limits; document new values and effective dates before release.
- Quarterly and on notices of change: review OSFI MQR and FCAC/CMHC down-payment, insurance, amortization and eligibility guidance.
- Before publishing each closing-cost change: verify the affected provincial/city law or fee schedule and effective date.
- Retain dated test cases, source links, reviewer sign-off and a version-history entry; remove stale approvals if underlying formulas change.
A schedule is a maintenance policy, not proof that an external review has already been completed. Corrections will appear in version history. For a suspected mistake, send a correction with a primary source.
