About Money Figures

A clearer way to explore Canadian money decisions.

Money Figures is operated by Jimmy Dhillon. Calculator assumptions, official sources and a contact route are published. Independent professional financial review is pending; no expert approval is claimed.

A tool first, with the workings underneath.

The aim is simple: help people explore a financial decision with clear inputs, useful comparisons and assumptions they can inspect. The calculator is the main content. Explanations support the calculation rather than getting in the way of the answer.

Who operates Money Figures

Money Figures is an independent calculator project operated by Jimmy Dhillon in Canada. It is not affiliated with the Government of Canada, CRA, CMHC, a bank, lender, insurer or investment firm.

What is working in this version

Twelve calculators cover mortgage payments, mortgage renewals, prepayments, minimum down payments and standard insurance, home closing costs and transfer tax, compound growth, savings goals, credit card payoff, equal-cost RRSP/TFSA comparisons, mortgage affordability, FHSA scenarios and debt payoff strategies. Nine supporting guides cover mortgage qualification, savings planning and debt payoff with official sources. The calculators include tables, charts, CSV export, local scenario saving and deliberate sharing.

Independent review status

The operator and contact route are now published. Appropriately qualified financial review is still pending. No professional accreditation or expert approval is claimed. Calculation models have automated and targeted official-source technical checks. Independent professional review and exhaustive comparison with lender outputs remain pending.

Results are planning estimates and do not guarantee eligibility, tax outcomes, investment returns, insurance treatment or approval. See the assumptions and official sources on each calculator before relying on a result.

Report a problem or ask a question
